Motorsport for 2023 is about to come alive with round 1 of the club championship now open for entries and is happening Sunday 26th February at Carco.com.au Raceway or Wanneroo for us oldies. The event is run by the Porsche Club of WA and you will need to enter via the MA (Motorsport Australia) portal. You will also need a valid MA license. We need a big turnout from our club to support our brothers in the Porsche club so get cracking.
Round 2 for the year will be Sunday 19th March also at Carco.com.au Raceway and it will be our turn to run the event. If you are new to the club and would like to see how motorsport works at a club level, get in touch with Mike our Motorsport Manager and he will get you started. This event will go live for entries in mid-February so keep you eyes open for the emails and other posts on the socials.
The rest of the calendar is set for 2023 and is live on the club website.
Also as alluded to in the last Motorsport Blog, quite a few members tackled the Challenge Bathurst event late last year on November 26/27, Mike Miller, Paul Kingston, Kirk Beardwood, Mike Clynk and a host of Porsche club members attended. Keep an eye out for the write up in the next edition of the club magazine. A bucket list event that every motorsport mad HSV Club member should aspire to attend once in their lifetime.
